The sodium alginate in Gaviscon acts as a ‘raft’ that forms over the contents of your stomach to help relieve reflux. Gaviscon Original soothes and cools the oesophagus, effectively relieving the classic – and often painful symptoms of heartburn and indigestion (a burning pain felt in your chest), so you can feel better.

Ingredients: Each tablet contains

• 250mg Sodium Alginate
• 133.5mg Sodium Bicarbonate
• 80mg Calcium Carbonate
• Contains Aspartame.
• Phenylketonurics: Contains Phenylalanine

Does not contain aluminium, sugar, gluten or artificial colouring

Directions: Take as required after meals and before going to bed, up to 4 times a day or as directed. Chew tablets thoroughly before swallowing and follow with water if desired. If symptoms persist see your doctor.
