Anusol Ointment

Anusol provides effective, soothing relief from the pain and discomfort associated with haemorrhoids (piles), itching, fissures and other related anal conditions. Anusol contains ingredients that protect raw areas, help reduce swelling, prevent bacterial growth and can promote healing.

Available in 50g ointment

Ingredients:

• Ointment: zinc oxide 10.75%w/w, peru balsam 1.88%w/w, benzyl benzoate 1.25%w/w in a bland base
• Suppository: Each suppository contains zinc oxide 300mg, peru balsam 50mg and benzyl benzoate 33mg in a suppository base.

Dosage:

• Ointment: Wash and dry affected area, and apply twice daily ensuring area is completely covered. Attach applicator tip to open tube, insert tip into rectum and squeeze tube gently.
• Suppository: Remove the foil and insert one suppository morning and evening afer each bowel movement. Use for two weeks after remission of the symptoms to help prevent recurrence.
